EKU Brake, which is among the top 50 exporting companies in the automotive industry in Turkey, exported its products to more than 100 countries in 2022. With new investments in 2023, it will be one of the largest capacity foundries in Europe.

TUDOKSAD (Turkish Foundry Industrialists' Association) is an organization that aims to find solutions to the common problems of the Turkish foundry industry and brings its members together to share information. Our General Manager Dogukan Dudaroglu met with TUDOKSAD and did an interview about EKU Brake's goals.

Speaking to TUDOKSAD team, our General Manager said, "We received the Silver Exporter award at the 2022 Export Success Awards."

Dogukan Dudaroglu also said that with the new investments, we will be the largest foundry in Europe and added that "we are the leader in the heavy vehicle sector in Europe and we are the leader in the sector as one of the largest foundries in the continent."

EKU Brake and Foundry Focuses on Zero Dust Emission Target

Pointing out that the problems in maritime transportation have left many companies in a difficult situation, Dogukan Dudaroglu, General Manager of EKU, stated that these problems, which started in 2021 and continued in 2022, caused a high amount of stock accumulation. Dudaroğlu stated that to overcome this challenge and balance spare parts production and shipments, they have completed the vertical heavy load handling system project in a 2,600 square meter storage area within the scope of digitalization efforts in logistics.

Dudaroglu also emphasized that they are one of the rare companies in Turkey to receive an environmental award and stated that they act with the slogan "Dust-Free EKU" and focus on eliminating dust emissions. Pointing out that most foundries do not attach importance to this issue, Dudaroglu said that their goal is to reduce dust emissions to zero.
